This is one of my favorite games despite the difficulty so I'll share my experience from playing this game.
Resident Evil starts off where the S.T.A.R.S Alpha Team of the Raccoon Police Department were dispatched to a Mansion deep in the woods of the Arklay Mountains.
The team had to separate and search the mansion for any clues and leads that helps them realize the truth to what was going on that was a deep secret. It took alot of battles with very careful, and precise timing to deal with the enemies, figuring out puzzles to open doors and so forth that it took me at least 2.5 hours to complete this game. It was so difficult dealing with enemies as they were difficult to get passed, but I did manage it. When I was right at the end, I was in shock to find out that the Alpha Team's traitor was their captain. The hardest part was dealing with the big enemy while a countdown was going on, but whew I managed to deal with this and finished the game.
The really neat thing about this game is that you get bonus stuff for completing this game below 3 hours and make sure to rescue the other 2 members.
I would advice this game to anyone that enjoys a kick out of games that deal with Zombies and so forth as it gets very addictive.
If you're playing the Director's Cut version of this game you will be given 3 difficult settings to choose from before choosing the character you want to play the game with. Trick, there is a hidden feature with the 3rd difficulty mode as it's a cheat that can activate it
